Some Exchange Server Folders Are Missing When You View Them with Entourage X

When you connect to your Microsoft Exchange Server account with Entourage X, some Exchange folders are missing. These Exchange folders are visible when you view them with the Microsoft Windows version of Microsoft Outlook.

This behavior occurs when the folder name contains the backslash character (\). With the Windows version of Outlook, you can use the backslash character in folder names.

To work around this behavior, you must rename the folders in the Windows version of Outlook. Remove the backslash character from the folder names.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
