On This PageSYMPTOMSWhen you back up your computer's hard disk by using Backup (NTBackup.exe), Backup may stop responding or may crash, and the following event is logged:
Event ID: 8017
CAUSEThis problem may occur if one or more folders that have been scheduled for backup are deleted or moved.
