SUMMARY

This article describes the Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 issue that is fixed in the Outlook 2003 hotfix package that is dated September 22, 2004.

Issues that are fixed in the hotfix package

The following issue is fixed in this hotfix package. The issue was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
  • You cannot open a personal folders (.pst) file in Outlook 2003. This problem occurs if the .pst file has already been opened by another service that uses the same user profile that you are using. This other service may be on your computer or on your local network.
