Article ID: 891709 - Last Review: July 24, 2007 - Revision: 3.4 The Microsoft Operations Manager Web console stops responding if the user belongs to many Active Directory user groups
On This PageSYMPTOMSIf you log on to a computer that is running the Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) Web console, the MOM Web console may stop responding. When this symptom occurs, you may experience a delay of 30 seconds or more until the MOM Web console loads the correct data. You may also experience a delay for each subsequent page that you load by using the MOM Web console. Additionally, if the MOM Web console does not respond for 90 or more seconds, you may receive the following error message: HTTP 400 - Bad Request CAUSEThis problem occurs because you are running the MOM Web console by using an account that is a member of many user groups in an Active Directory environment. For example, this problem may occur if the user account belongs to 100 or more Active Directory user groups. The time that the MOM Web console takes to load the page depends on the amount of user groups that the user account is a member of. The MOM Web console tries to load the page until the default time-out limit is reached. By default, the MOM Web console time-out limit is 90 seconds.
