Description of the Microsoft Windows Registry SYMPTOMSIf you have an application that uses the Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) API running as a Windows service to open a personal folders (.pst) file, the MAPI service application may not open the file. CAUSEThis problem occurs if both the following conditions are true:
