On This PageSYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario. A Microsoft Outlook user forwards a meeting request to a Lotus Notes user. When the Lotus Notes user accepts the meeting request, an e-mail message is sent to the originator of the meeting request. However, the acceptance message never reaches the recipient. The Lotus Notes user receives a non-delivery report (NDR) message. Additionally, the acceptance message of the Lotus Notes user is stuck in the local delivery queue of the Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 server that hosts the mailbox of the recipient. The following event is logged in the Application log: Event ID: 327 CAUSEThe message is not delivered if the Lotus Notes user's meeting request acceptance message contains an empty Attendee:mailto field. RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.If the hotfix is available for download, there is a "Hotfix download available" section at the top of this Knowledge Base article.
