SYMPTOMS

When you open Microsoft Outlook 2002 or Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, you receive the following error message:
The procedure entry point "WNetEnumCachedPasswords" could not be located in the dynamic link library MPR.dll.

RESOLUTION

  1. Close all open programs.
  2. In the C:\Windows\system32 folder, locate the Mapi32.dll file. Rename this file "Mapi32.old."
  3. Click Start, click Run, type fixmapi.exe, and then click OK.
  4. Restart the computer.
