SYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario. You use trace flags 2389 and 2390 in Microsoft SQL Server 2005. The value of the current RowCount property for a table is less than the value that was recorded for the table when statistics were updated. In this scenario, SQL Server may not perform histogram amendments. Additionally, you may experience the following symptoms:
RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
