SYMPTOMSWhen you start an application in Microsoft SoftGrid, or you update a Desktop Configuration Server from SoftGrid Client Management, you may receive the following error message:
The SoftGrid Client could not launch {application}. The SoftGrid Client is operating in offline mode and cannot perform the operation requested. Please disable offline mode, ensure you can connect to the SoftGrid Server and retry the operation. If the problem persists, please report the following error code to your System Administrator. Error code: xxxxxx-xxxxxx0A-1000000B The SoftGrid Client could not update desktop configuration information from the server {server_name}. The SoftGrid Client is operating in offline mode and cannot perform the operation requested. Please disable offline mode, ensure you can connect to the SoftGrid Server and retry the operation. If the problem persists, please report the following error code to your System Administrator. Error code: xxxxxx-xxxxxx0A-1000000B In the SoftGrid Client log file (Sftlog.txt)
The SoftGrid client could not connect to stream URL '{protocol}://{server}:{port}/{path}/{filename}.sft' (FS status: xxxxxx0A-1000000B). The client was unable to connect to a SoftGrid server (rc xxxxxx0A-1000000B)

CAUSEThis behavior may occur when SoftGrid components are configured to use the Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) together with Transport Layer Security (TLS). WORKAROUNDTo work around this behavior, configure the SoftGrid components to use RTSP without TLS.
