SYMPTOMS

You try to install Microsoft Forefront Security for Exchange Server Service Pack 1 on an active node. When you reach the Windows PowerShell page, the page flashes and then disappears. Then, you receive the following error message:
Failed to get CMS info GetMCSEVSInfo:
An Active node of an Active/Passive cluster is found, but no match for the shared drive is found

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, you must install Hotfix Rollup 3 for Forefront Security for Exchange Server Service Pack 1. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Note If you cannot install Forefront Security for Exchange Server Service Pack 1 before you install this hotfix rollup, you must use the full installation package of Hotfix Rollup 3 for Forefront Security for Exchange Server Service Pack 1.

This hotfix rollup adds a log message if a failure occurs when you set up a single-instance cluster. Before you install this hotfix rollup, the installation log does not indicate that this problem occurs. After you install this hotfix rollup, the installation log indicates that the environment is misconfigured. This log message indicates that no disk resources are available in the cluster group.
