You create a shortcut (.lnk) to a file that is located in a Web
Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) folder. When you try to open the
file by using the shortcut, Windows Explorer (Explorer.exe) crashes. Note If the shortcut is located on the desktop, Windows Explorer crashes immediately after you log on to the computer. Therefore, you must use a command prompt to delete the .lnk shortcut. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, install the update that is described in Microsoft Knowledge Base article
956790.
