SYMPTOMS

On a clustered Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server instance in Windows Server 2003, you try to stop, start, or restart the DHCP service in the DHCP Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in. In this case, the service is stopped, started, or restarted correctly. However, the DHCP MMC snap-in stops responding, and you receive the following error message:
Not enough storage is available to complete this operation

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next hotfix that contains this hotfix.
