SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:

You enable Software Inventory or you enable File collection to collect some files from a client on a System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP2 site server.
You change the "Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes" option on this server.
The server time is in the same daylight savings range as the client.

In this scenario, the files are collected by Software Inventory or by File collection incorrectly even if there are no changes to the files after the previous inventory cycle. You expect the files not to be collected.

Prerequisites

To apply this hotfix, your computer must be running System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Service Pack 2.

NoteThe following hotfix package can be installed on a SCCM 2007 SP2 site server that is running an x86-based version of an operating system or an x64-based version of an operating system:
