Known issues with this security update

• When you uninstall this security update on a Windows 7-based computer that is using a RDP Listener name set to a custom name, the installer creates a default ghost listener together with the custom RDP listener. The name of the default ghost listener is "RDP-TCP." For example, if you create a custom RDP listener of "RDP-TCP-Custom," the following two registry subkeys are created when this security update is uninstalled:

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\WinStations\RDP-Tcp-Custom
  
  Some software may not function correctly with the unexpected ghost listener ("RDP-TCP"). In these instances, the ghost listener can be removed by deleting the following RDP-Tcp subkey:
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\WinStations\RDP-Tcp
• After you install security update 2667402 on a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, and then you install Service Pack 1 (SP1) for Windows 7 or for Windows Server 2008 R2, the binary version of Rdpcorekmts.dll is 6.1.7600.16952 and not 6.1.7601.17767. In this scenario, you may be unable to create a remote desktop session to control the Windows 7-based or Windows Server 2008 R2-based computer. 
  
  This issue occurs because the SP1 binary version of Rdpcorekmts.dll was not originally deployed when security update 2667402 was originally installed.
  
  On June 12, 2012, security update 2667402 was rereleased to address this issue. Customers who are running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 should install the reoffered update. This includes those who already successfully installed the update that was originally offered on March 13, 2012.
  
  Note No security risk is associated with this issue. The computer is not in an unprotected state even though an unexpected version of Rdpcorekmts.dll is installed.

MUM and MANIFEST files, and the associated security catalog (.cat) files, are critical to maintaining the state of the updated component. The security catalog files, for which the attributes are not listed, are signed with a Microsoft digital signature.
