AVIcode 5.7 SE-Viewer upgrade fails with Windows Installer Error 1722Article ID: 2519798 - View products that this article applies to. SYMPTOMSWhen you try to upgrade to AVIcode SE-Viewer 5.7 from version 5.0, 5.5 or 5.6, the installation fails and you receive an error message that is similar to the following: Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action ElevatedPermissionsFW4, location: ...\MSI2543.tmp Additionally, the Windows Installer log contains messages that are similar to the following: MSI (c) (DC:E8) [10:32:14:983]: Doing action: ElevatedPermissionsFW4 Action 10:32:14: ElevatedPermissionsFW4. RESOLUTIONTo work around this problem, use the Orca.exe program from the Windows SDK to remove the ElevatedPermissionsFW4 custom action from SEViewer5_7.msi. Use the following steps to do this:
