When you try to play content that is located on a secure server (https://) in Microsoft Windows Media Player 10, you receive the following error message:
If you click Close, the content does not play. If you click Web Help, you receive an error message that refers to 800C000E. However, you cannot find any help for this error message.
A security problem occurred.
This issue also applies to the Windows Media Player ActiveX control that is embedded in a Web page that is displayed in Internet Explorer.
This issue may occur if the content is located on a Web server and if the following conditions are true:
To work around this issue, save the content to your local computer before you try to play it. To do this, right-click the content on the secure Web page, and then click Save Target As.
