This article lists the Microsoft COM+ bugs that are fixed in the Microsoft Windows 2000 Post-Service Pack 4 (SP4) COM+ 1.0 Rollup Package 37. Each hotfix rollup package contains all the fixes that were released in the previous Windows 2000 COM+ 1.0 rollup packages.

FIX: The Remote Procedure Call service frequently stops responding when COM+ applications are running on Windows 2000
Additionally, the following issues are fixed in this hotfix rollup package. These issues were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
- A race condition occurs where a finalizer thread tries to manipulate COM+ data structures outside a lock. This issue occurs on Microsoft .NET common language runtime (CLR) components that are running in COM+ on a computer that is running Windows 2000.
- In Windows 2000, the Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator (MS DTC) may shut down because of an inconsistent state
- When a Network Data Representation (NDR) engine calls the GetBuffer method in COM+, COM+ sends data according to the buffer length of the SendReceive method, instead of using the length of the GetBuffer method.
