On This PageSYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario. A Windows Server 2008-based computer is joined to a Windows Server 2003 R2-based domain. You run the DFSRAdmin command-line tool (Dfsradmin.exe) on the Windows Server 2008 member server to set membership properties. In this scenario, Dfsradmin.exe may fail. Additionally, you may receive the following error message: MemberName (FolderName): The property MemberSubscriptionReadOnly cannot be used. The schema in the DomainName domain does not support the property. dfsradmin membership set /rgName:GroupName /rfName:FolderName /memName:MemberName /localPath:LocalPath /isPrimary:true /membershipEnabled:true /force RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
