When you try to print an Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) file, the file is not printed. This problem occurs when you are using a Mac OS 9-based client computer to print to a Windows 2000-based print server that is running Print Services for Macintosh. The following error appears in the application event log:

Event ID: 4001
TrueImage Interpreter - internal error occurred during job processing. The job will not print.
This problem occurs after you apply Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 (SP4) to the Windows 2000-based print server. Windows 2000 SP4 contains some updated fonts. The current implementation of Print Services for Macintosh cannot render these updated fonts.
To work around this issue, use one of the following methods.
Method 1: Replace the fontsReplace the following five fonts on your Windows 2000-based print server with the corresponding fonts from your Windows 2000 installation CD:
