Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You use an MSF for CMMI Process Improvement process template to create a team project on a Microsoft Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2010 (TFS 2010) server.

  • You use Microsoft Visual Studio Team System Web Access 2010 to edit a work item that is based on a customized work item type in the team project. For example, you update the value of the State field. Additionally, the values of other fields are updated automatically to reflect the new value of the State field.
