INTRODUCTION

This article describes that a country-specific update is available to add the contingency SCAN functionality as a part of the NF-e process in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 for Brazil.

The contingency SCAN is a contingency mode to communicate invoiced NF-e fiscal documents to the SEFAZ virtual authority called SCAN when the NF-e addressee origin SEFAZ is out of work.

To implement the contingency SCAN, you must make sure that the following conditions are true:

  • SEFAZ origin is out of service.

  • SCAN is activated for the SEFAZ origin.

  • A series between 900 and 999 is used to determine the sequence of the NF-e fiscal document issued.

  • The events cancellation and discard NF-e number are communicated to the SCAN or SEFAZ origin according to which SEFAZ the communication of the issued NF-e happened.

To use the contingency SCAN functionality, follow these steps after you install this country-specific update:

  1. Set up SCAN series and number sequence of NF-e according to the fiscal establishment at the following location:

    Organization administration>Setup>Brazil>Fiscal document type

  2. Add the SCAN authority at the following location:

    Organization administration>Setup>Brazil>NF-e federal parameters>Web services

  3. Add the SCAN web services for testing and production environments at the following location:

    Organization administration>Setup>Brazil>NF-e federal parameters>Web servicesNote Make sure that SCAN web services are at "Portal da Nota Fiscal EletrĂ´nica".

  4. Activate the SCAN contingency mode according to the fiscal establishment at the following location when Authority is in contingency mode:

    Accounts receivable>Periodic>NF-e Federal>Contingency

  5. Visualize the history of contingency mode of activation and deactivation of SCAN according to the fiscal establishment at the following location:

    Accounts receivable>Periodic>NF-e Federal>Contingency>Contingency mode history

  6. The series and sequence of fiscal documents will be determined at the posting time according to the SCAN contingency activation and will be communicated to SCAN or Authority of origin accordingly.

  7. Send the fiscal document to the correct authority or to SCAN.

  8. Verify the status of Authorities of origin and SCAN authority according to the fiscal establishment including average response time by using the inquire function at following location:

    Organization administration>Setup>Brazil>NF-e web services status

Restart requirement

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply this hotfix.

The Brazilian version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
