Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

You type a word on a Windows 8.1-based computer by using the touch keyboard or a Type Cover.

The word is recognized as incorrect by the autocorrection feature, and is corrected to another word.

You press backspace to undo the correction.
-
You type the word again.
In this scenario, the autocorrection feature still corrects the word to other words.
