Introduction
According to the French law existing since 2007, the accounting software should provide functionality to export financial transactions to a text file for archiving purpose. The most recent changes as of year 2013 make this requirement mandatory for each and every company operating in France as of January 1, 2014. There are two options to provide export of financial data: structured flat ASCII file and XML message. Currently, Microsoft Dynamics AX offers creating a structured flat file.
This article describes that a country specific update is available for financial data export for France in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1.

This update modifies or adds following capabilities:
Now it is possible to define a SysQuery with all its filtering and sorting capabilities for each table defined in Data export tables form (for France and Germany).
Updated format of exported file for France:
- First row contains column headers. Data export filed text defined by user in Data export fields form is used for this purpose.
- Field separators are pipes "|".
- All the fields including text are exported without apostrophes.
- All the fields based on Date data type are exported in YYYMMDD format.
- Thousand separator is removed for all amount based exported fields.
The list of available Database fields is extended in Data export tables form:
- "createdDateTime" field from "LedgerTrans" (AX 2009 SP1) or "LedgerJournalEntry" (AX 2012 / R2) data tables is available for export in YYYYMMDD format.
Added set of table methods to be used immediately in the export definition (Data export fields form) or as examples for customization is needed:
- deAbsoluteAccountingCurrencyAmount_FR - exports absolute amount of accounting currency. Added to LedgerJournalAccountEntry (AX 2012 / R2) and LedgerTrans (AX 2009 SP1).
- deDirection_FR - exports direction for accounting (D - Debit amount, C - Credit amount). Added to LedgerJournalAccountEntry (AX 2012 / R2) and LedgerTrans (AX 2009 SP1).
- deLedgerAccount_FR - exports Main account for an entry. Added to LedgerJournalAccountEntry (AX 2012 / R2).
- deLedgerAccountName_FR - exports Main account name for an entry. Added to LedgerJournalAccountEntry (AX 2012 / R2).
- deEmptyValue_FR – always returns empty value. Added to LedgerJournalEntry (AX 2012 / R2) and LedgerTrans (AX 2009 SP1).
- deJournalCode_FR – exports first 5 characters of SubledgerVoucher. Added to LedgerJournalEntry (AX 2012 / R2). Or first 5 characters of Voucher. Added for LedgerTrans (AX 2009 SP1).
- deJournalLib_FR – returns JournalCategory. If it is empty then returns Type from the related TransactionLog record. Added to LedgerJournalEntry (AX 2012 / R2). Always returns Type from the related TransactionLog record. Added for LedgerTrans (AX 2009 SP1).
- dePieceNum_FR – returns DocumentNumber. If it is empty then returns SubledgerVoucher. Added to LedgerJournalEntry (AX 2012 / R2). Returns DocumentNum. If it is empty then returns Voucher. Added for LedgerTrans (AX 2009 SP1).
- dePieceDate_FR – returns DocumentDate. If it is empty then returns AccountingDate. Added to LedgerJournalEntry (AX 2012 / R2). Returns DocumentDate. If it is empty then returns TransDate. Added for LedgerTrans (AX 2009 SP1).
- deEcritureLib_FR – returns Text. If it is empty then returns Txt from the related TransactionLog record. Added to GeneralJournalAccountEntry (AX 2012 / R2). Returns Txt. If it is empty then returns Txt from the related TransactionLog record. Added for LedgerTrans (AX 2009 SP1).

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.
