KB3066682 - FIX: Error occurs when you filter data with date format that differs from DateTime attribute format setting in MDS 2014

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • Implement a Master Data Services solution on a non-English version of Microsoft SQL Server 2014.
  • Create a DateTime attribute, and select "DD/MM/YYYY" from the Input mask list.
  • Filter the data on the DateTime attribute in MDS Explorer.

In this scenario, you may experience an error.

For example, when you filter the data by using a filter criteria in the date format "MM/DD/YYYY" and the day value is larger than 12, you receive the following error message:

Resolution

The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server.
