Symptoms

Assume that you configure dimension security to hide some measures in a dimension in a Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) Multidimensional model, and you then connect to the SSAS model from Power BI Desktop by using the Connect live option. When you open the dimension, all the measures become visible, and even those that you have denied access.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in the following cumulative updates for SQL Server:
