Symptoms
Assume that a graphics card that only supports DirectX 9 is installed on a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, and you try to start Windows Movie Maker 2012 on the computer. In this situation, Windows Movie Maker 2012 does not start.
Cause
This issue is caused by an access violation that occurs in the D3d11.dll file.
