About this update
Currently the default settings that are used by cluster network thresholds are too aggressive and cause transient operational issues with cluster functioning. This update provides more tolerance of brief transient network issues on failover clusters by making the following changes:
-
Change the default value of SameSubnetThreshold from 5 to 10.
-
Change the default value of CrossSubnetThreshold from 5 to 20.
-
Change the default value of RouteHistoryLength from 10 to 20.
Resolution
To fix this issue, install June 2016 update rollup for Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2.
Status
Microsoft has confirmed that this is an update in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
