SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:
  • You have Administration Pack for Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0 installed.
  • You input the password for an account to configure client certificate mapping in the collection editor window of Configuration Editor.

    Note Configuration Editor is a feature of the Administration Pack. You can find Configuration Editor in Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
In this scenario, the password is visible in the grid of the table in the collection editor window.
