Communicator for Mac 2011 includes the desktop sharing feature
This update introduces the desktop sharing feature. You can now share your desktop with your contacts during a conversation. For example, if you have a presentation slide deck or a document that you want to present to your contacts, you can start a desktop sharing session directly from your IM window. When you share your desktop, other users who are invited to take part in the desktop sharing session can view all the tasks that you are performing on the shared screen.

Before you install the Microsoft Communicator for Mac 2011 13.1 Update, make sure that the computer is running Microsoft Communicator for Mac 2011 and Mac OS X v10.5.8 or a later version of the Mac OS X operating system.
