CAUSEThis issue occurs because the common certificate (also known as the "bootstrap" certificate) expired on April 24, 2011. When the System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Asset Intelligence synchronization point tries to use this certificate, the error message is displayed. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, run the following hotfix package on the site server that has the Asset Intelligence synchronization point installed. Note You can install the following hotfix package (Sccm2007-sp2-2483225-x86-enu.msi) on a System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP2 site server that is running an x86-based or x64-based version of Windows.
