Consider the following scenario:
In this scenario, hash marks are displayed instead of the Free/Busy information.
When an Exchange 2003 user who uses any version of Outlook performs an availability request for a remote user, the target organization may return the Free/Busy information in the format of a MergedOnly string, and Outlook will display hash marks (no information) for the remote user.
To resolve this issue, install Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 2 (SP2). For more information about Exchange Server 2010 SP2, visit the following Microsoft website:
