Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You have a Windows Embedded Compact 7-based device that uses symmetric multiprocessing (SMP).

  • You have a CeLog (.clg) file that was created on the device.

  • You open the CeLog file by using the Kernel Tracker tool.

In this scenario, the Kernel Tracker tool takes longer than expected to open the CeLog file.

Cause

This problem occurs because of a known issue in which zero time stamp events are handled incorrectly in the Kernel Tracker tool. This causes the tool to take longer than expected to open the CeLog file. This known issue typically occurs when there are invalid interrupt time stamps that are recorded in a CeLog file. Invalid interrupt times tamps are displayed as "00.000 000s" by the Kernel Tracker tool. This update resolves this known issue.
