Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:
-
You host active server pages (ASP webpages) on a Windows Embedded Compact 7-based device that includes ASP web components. For example, you configure a device to be an ASP web server.
-
You have some webpages on the device, such as webpage A and webpage B. Webpage A returns responses slowly, whereas webpage B returns responses very quickly.
-
Concurrent client requests for both webpages are sent to the device. A client request for webpage B is sent to the device immediately after a client request for webpage A is also sent to the device.
In this scenario, the ASP web server does not execute concurrent requests and the client request for webpage B does not receive a response until after the response for webpage A is received.
