Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:
-
You use the Server Message Block version 2 (SMBv2) protocol on a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2.
-
You open Performance Monitor on the computer.
-
You click Add, double-click Redirector, and then add Bytes Transmitted/sec to the counter list.
-
You copy a file from this computer to another computer that supports SMBv2.
In this scenario, the Bytes Transmitted/sec counter in Performance Monitor remains at zero.
