Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

You have a Lenovo ThinkPad S1 Yoga computer that runs Windows 8.1, and the Allow the screen to auto-rotate option is selected under Screen Resolution.

You put the computer in Tent mode.

You click the user account picture on the Start screen to sign out.
In this scenario, the orientation option is reversed at the logon screen. Specifically, the orientation option is changed from Landscape (flipped) to Landscape.
