Symptoms

Event ID 153 displays useless characters instead of related information about logical block address, disk number and Physical Device Object (PDO) name in Event Viewer in Windows RT, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, or Windows Server 2012 R2.

Resolution
