This article describes an issue after you apply update 2960358 on a client computer. The issue is resolved in this update that has a prerequisite.

Symptoms

After you apply update 2960358 for the Microsoft .NET Framework on a computer that connects to a server that is running Windows Home Server 2011, Windows Small Business Server 2011 Essentials, or Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 Essentials with a Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) hotfix, all the scheduled client backups fail.

This update is available from Windows Update.

Prerequisites

To apply this update, you must be running Windows Home Server 2011, Windows Small Business Server 2011 Essentials, or Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 Essentials.
Additionally, you must install UEFI hotfix 2781272 for Windows Home Server 2011, UEFI hotfix 2781270 for Windows Small Business Server 2011 Essentials, or UEFI hotfix 2781274 for Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 Essentials.
