Symptoms

The MPIO timer values that are configured under the Multipath I/O (MPIO) Parameters registry key are not always honored in Windows Server 2012 R2. Instead, the default values are used.For example, if you have set a custom PDORemovePeriod value, that value might not be honored, and instead the default value of 20 seconds is used.
