The method that you use to add links to documents and to add
links to pages in the Activity box shape in IDEFO diagrams is different in
Microsoft Office Visio 2007 and in Microsoft Office Visio 2003 than in Microsoft Visio 2000. In Visio 2007 and in Visio 2003, you use
the
Hyperlinks dialog box to add a link to a document or to
add a link to a page after you right-click the shape, and then click either
Link to Document or
Link to Page.

Add Links to Pages and Links to Documents to Shapes That Do Not Contain Any Existing Links
To add a link to a page in an Activity box shape that does not
contain any existing links when you use Visio to open an IDEFO diagram
that was previously saved in Visio 2000, follow these steps:
| 1. | Start Visio, and then open the IDEFO
diagram. |
| 2. | Right-click the shape, and then click Link to
Page. |
| 3. | In the Hyperlinks dialog box, in the
Sub-address box, click Browse. |
| 4. | In the Page box, click the page that you
want to link to. |
| 5. | Click OK, and then click
OK. |
To add a link to a document in an Activity box shape that does
not contain any existing links when you use Visio to open an IDEFO diagram
that was previously saved in Visio 2000, follow these steps:
| 1. | Start Visio, and then open the IDEFO
diagram. |
| 2. | Right-click the shape, and then click Link to
Document. |
| 3. | In the Hyperlinks dialog box, in the
Address box, click Browse, and then click
Local File. |
| 4. | In the Link to File dialog box, locate the
file that you want to link to, click Open, and then click
OK. |

Add Links to Pages and Links to Documents to Shapes That Contain Existing Links
To reset (add) a link to a page in an Activity box shape that
contains existing links when you use Visio to open an IDEFO diagram that
was previously saved in Visio 2000, follow these steps:
| 1. | Start Visio, and then open the IDEFO
diagram. |
| 2. | Right-click the shape, and then click Link to
Page. |
| 3. | In the Hyperlinks dialog box, in the
Sub-address box, click Browse. |
| 4. | In the Page box, click the page that you
want to link to. |
| 5. | Click OK, and then click
OK.
Note that this action does not reset the current
page link, this action adds a new link to a page. |
To reset (add) a link to a document in an Activity box shape
that contains existing links when you use Visio to open an IDEFO diagram
that was previously saved in Visio 2000, follow these steps:
| 1. | Start Visio, and then open the IDEFO
diagram. |
| 2. | Right-click the shape, and then click Reset
Document Link. |
| 3. | In the Hyperlinks dialog box, in the
Address box, click Browse, and then click
Local File. |
| 4. | In the Link to File dialog box, locate the
file that you want to link to, click Open, and then click
OK.
Note that this action does not reset the current
document link, this action adds a new link to a document. |

Remove Links to Documents or Links to Pages From an Activity Box Shape
To remove links to documents or links to pages from an Activity
box shape that is contained in a Visio drawing that was upgraded from a
Visio 2000 drawing, follow these steps:
| 1. | Start Visio, and then open the IDEFO
diagram. |
| 2. | Click the Activity box shape that you want
to configure, and then on the Window menu, click Show
ShapeSheet. |
| 3. | In the Actions table, locate the
Menu column. |
| 4. | In the Menu column, right-click the name
of the document or page link that you want to remove, and then click
Delete Row. |
| 5. | Close the ShapeSheet window. |
