Introduction

This article describes an update for the shared components of the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 (SP1) on a computer that is running one of the following operating systems:
  • Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1)
  • Windows Vista Service Pack 2 (SP2)
  • Windows Server 2008
  • Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 (SP2) 
This update addresses a set of issues for the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 and the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 (SP2).

  • Windows Server 2008
  • Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 (SP2)
 

Restart requirement

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this update if the affected files are not being used.

Update removal information

To remove this update, use the Add or Remove Programs item in Control Panel.
