Note After this hotfix is installed on Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008, Meiryo Bold or Meiryo UI Bold may be used for the Microsoft IME candidate listbox or the Character List in IME pad, where the regular weight of the corresponding font family is expected. Uninstalling the hotfix won’t resolve this issue. The order of font names in the registry affects which fonts the Microsoft IME uses.
