Symptoms
You have an ActiveX control that uses the following code to hide or to reset the browser chrome:
pweb2->put_AddressBar(VARIANT_FALSE);
pweb2->put_MenuBar(VARIANT_FALSE);
pweb2->put_StatusBar(VARIANT_TRUE);
pweb2->put_ToolBar(VARIANT_FALSE);
pweb2->Release();
However, when you run the ActiveX control in Windows Internet Explorer 8, the ActiveX control does not work correctly. Additionally, the browser chrome is not hidden or reset as expected.
