In order to cancel the fake order, you'll either have to click a link or call them on the telephone. Either way, the ultimate goal of the scammers is to get you to give them some personal information. They'll claim it's for the purposes of canceling the fake order.

Follow these steps to access the online account recovery form: In the Contact email address text box, enter a current email address where we can contact you, and then select Next. To make sure that we have the correct contact email, we’ll send a code to that address and ask you to enter it.

If you get an email from Microsoft account team and the email address domain is @accountprotection.microsoft.com, it is safe to trust the message and open it. Microsoft uses this domain to send email notifications about your Microsoft account.

To protect yourself, your computer, and your organization, the best option is to delete the file. From the OneDrive mobile app, your only option is to delete the file. Select the file you want to delete (on the mobile app, select the More icon next to the file). Select Delete.
