Your search history shows what you searched for, the dates of your searches, and sites you have gone to. Also, based on results that you've clicked, it can help improve your search results.
Turn off search history
When search history is off, nothing new is added to your search history. Your existing history isn't deleted. To delete your search history, you need to clear it.
On the Search History page, under Show new searches here, turn off the toggle.

If you can't turn off search history, enable JavaScript and cookies in your browser, and then try again.

Clear search history
If you’re not signed in
To clear a single search from history, on the Search History page, under Activity, select the search you want to delete and select Clear.
To clear all of your search history, on the Search History page, under Manage or clear your search history, select Clear all. This deletes any search history on this device.
If you’re signed in to a Microsoft account
On your Microsoft Privacy dashboard, select Browsing and search and select Clear all activities under the Search history section. This deletes any search history associated with your Microsoft account.
If you’re signed in to a work or school account
On the Search History page, under Manage or clear your search history, select Clear all. This deletes any search history associated with that account.
See your search history
- On any Bing.com page, select ... in the upper-right corner, and then select History.
- To see your search history by type or date, select ... More options icon in the History pane and select Open history page to use the menus.
