For the best experience with the Microsoft Clipchamp video editor, use the latest desktop version of one of these browsers:
These recommendations apply to Clipchamp for personal, work, and school accounts.
Use Clipchamp on a supported Windows, Mac, or Linux desktop or laptop computer, or on a Chromebook. For hardware recommendations, see Which devices does Clipchamp work on?.
Note
The desktop video editor isn't supported in Android or iOS mobile browsers, including the mobile versions of Edge and Chrome.
On Windows 10 or Windows 11, you can also use the Clipchamp desktop app if it's available on your device.
If you see an unsupported browser message in Safari, Firefox, or another browser, open Clipchamp in the latest version of Edge or Chrome instead.
Chromium-based browsers on desktop
Sharing the Chromium engine doesn't guarantee that every browser or version works with Clipchamp.
If you use another Chromium-based browser, like Brave, and Clipchamp doesn't open or work as expected, try these steps before you change browser privacy or security settings:
- Update your browser to the latest version.
- Try opening Clipchamp in the latest version of Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.
- If the problem continues in Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome, follow the recommendations in Make sure Clipchamp works well for you.
