Change the display name recipients see in Outlook for Mac

Your email recipients may be seeing only part of your name, such as your first name.

The display might show only part of your name if you didn't type your full name when you first set up your email account. Depending on your account type, you may be able to change the display name in Outlook or through your email provider. Take these steps:

1. Go to Tools > Accounts
2. Select the account that you want to update.
3. Under Personal Information, if full name is editable, enter the name you want recipients to see.
4. If full name is unavailable or read-only, update the name through your email provider or contact your organization's administrator.
