Use text or visual alternative to sounds

You can get visual cues instead of sound alerts in Windows by changing your settings. Here's how.

  1. Select  WindowsLogo  Start, choose  Settings  Settings, and pick Accessibility, or press  WindowsLogo +U. 
  2. Select Audio. under Hearing.
  3. Expand the Flash my screen during audio notifications dropdown menu and select the option you want.
