These are the basic types of graphics that you can use to enhance your Word documents: drawing objects, SmartArt, charts, pictures, and clip art. Drawings refer to a drawing object or a group of drawing objects.

Use the freeform and scribble tools to draw and edit shapes in your documents. Use edit points to customize the look of a standard shape.

Lasso is a special selection tool that selects ink by drawing a free-form shape wherein all the ink strokes within that shape get selected. To remove your ink, you can utilize the eraser found within the Draw tab.
