KB5016721 - FIX: Error occurs in the Event Hub send adapter when you try to publish events with data greater than 256 KB

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • The pricing tier for your Event Hub allows events that have a data size that's greater than 256 kilobytes (KB).
  • You use the Event Hub send adapter to publish an event to Azure Event Hubs.
  • The data size of the event is greater than 256 KB.

In this situation, you receive an error message that resembles the following message:

Note

Too large message with size of {0} bytes cannot be sent to Event Hubs.

Status

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.

Resolution

This problem is fixed in the following cumulative update for BizTalk Server:
