Symptoms
When you try to edit public folder permissions by using the Exchange Admin Center (ECP), the ECP returns a serialized object that cannot be modified. Additionally, it returns the following error message:
Note
System throws an exception at calculating Lambda Expression.
Resolution
To fix this issue, install the following update, as appropriate:
- For Microsoft Exchange Server 2019: Cumulative Update 14 for Exchange Server 2019 or a later cumulative update for Exchange Server 2019
- For Microsoft Exchange Server 2016: Hotfix update for Microsoft Exchange Server 2019 and 2016: April 23, 2024 (KB5037224)
